Heavy Pipes
Up the street, there’s a construction project going on with orange barrels blocking a whole lane for about a mile or more, with very large heavy pipes that would very likely be unmovable for just a couple guys. Although, one of the guys was slowly driving a short crane with a hook, to help lift the pipes and place them into the side of the road. There are several Pipe Fitters working on the project although if they had to lift the pipes without Leverage, …. it would take many more workers.
What are the pipelines for? At this time it could be several projects, for example they are installing cable lines for T-Mobile, as an alternative to the existing lines owned by AT&T. It could also be a project that is part of the current Highway and Street project going on by the Department of Transportation.
Leverage machines and tools that use cranes, hydraulics, pulleys, and power are usually used to work on large projects like installing street side underground sewage.
